THE BEST IS YET TO COME
It’s already been three years since I launched my art and my first art series: THE BEST IS YET TO COME.
A series of watercolours and ink, painted out as five female figures with their own unique story and meaning. This journey was the start of everything. Saying yes to art was the gateway to following my intuition, being curious about life's questions, digging deeper and finding myself on a deeper level.
In this post, I won’t go too deep into how it changed my life. I wanna go deeper into the saying“THE BEST YET TO COME” and how you can use that mentality to always have the universe work for you and support you.
I always come back to “THE BEST IS YET TO COME”. If you think about it, if you have the mentality that the best is yet to come, you have a mentality of openness, that being curious and playful will lead you to more joy, more opportunities and prosperity
So, how can you apply this to the challenging times in your life? Let’s say you find yourself in a dark space where things are dark, and you tend to spiral into more bad thoughts than good. I’ve been there many times; It’s part of the human experience.
Here is how I would work through it with these principles:
1: ACCEPT: that things are like they are, giving space for the whole of you in all of this. The sadness, the rage, the hopelessness and whatever you are feeling. Allow it to be there. This is crucial, don’t dismiss the feels, don’t undermine them,
2: GIVE YOURSELF A TIMELINE: to feel what you have to feel, and give yourself what the body wants. Only you know how much time you need. Listen in: what does my body want to eat? Maybe it’s a meal from your childhood, maybe you are restricting your eating, and you gotta have a dirty pizza, maybe it is to have something super fresh.
3: HOW CAN YOU LOOK AT THIS FROM ANOTHER PERSPECTIVE? When the acceptance is setting in, you are ready to move on to look at it from another perspective: Zoom yourself out of the situation. What can you take from this?
4: ZOOMED OUT: What did you learn?
5: GIVE IT OVER to the universe. an easy yet very effective prayer from the queen herself Gabby Bernstein it goes along the lines of this” Thank you universe/source for always being there for me: I give you all of my burdens and all of my problems. I know you will take care of them and let things fall into place for everything to work out. Thank you, thank you, Thank you
6: THE BEST IS YET TO COME: let it go - and do believe in the opportunities that the best is yet to come.
I started to write this post this weekend, and while I was writing, I started to have second thoughts. My mind started to race, and I started thinking, “Who doesn’t know these things from before?” “This won’t help people” and so on, usually I would either just write, not feeling good about it and post it, or just completely dismiss it. This time, I tried something new. I started to become curious, listening in to see if there was a part of me that wanted to be seen, and I realised that I needed to do these steps I wrote, I simply had to follow my own advice.

I hope this can encourage you to tap in mindfully with yourself, and hopefully, you can use these points to give yourself what you need and look at things with a fresh perspective. What I see over and over again, with myself and clients, is that giving yourself a timeline and then letting it go and trusting it's been taken care of is truly a magnetic shift. Would love to hear if you do something like this yourself or if this is something you will try in the future.
Sending you lots of love, Helena <3
